On World Water Day which is celebrated on the 22nd of March, we embarked on a mini walk for water to raise awareness of the 2.2 billion people around the world that are living without access to safe water. It also allows the children to become
aware of the 6km walk on average that women and children in these places have to undertake on a daily basis to retrieve water that is often unclean. We walked 3.6km in 47 minutes. Well done to all the children for partaking in this walk and are now more sympathetic to the plight of those less fortunate than themselves.
