On the 4th of March, 2022, the school turned blue and yellow to show our support for the people of Ukraine. The children wore blue and yellow and were asked to bring in €2 to donate to the Irish Red Cross who are on the ground in Ukraine repairing vital infrastructure, supporting health facilities and helping families with life-saving food and hygiene items. Thank you so much to everyone for your cooperation and generosity in supporting our Ukrainian appeal. We were overwhelmed with the response and the children raised €364, which the school then rounded to €400. As we paid the Red Cross through Revolut, our contribution was matched by Revolut so the amount increased to €800. We are thrilled to be able to pass this on, in what is a terrible situation. A late donation of €50 brought the total amount raised to €450.
